My tent (CVT Mt Shasta Summit series) sits on a bed rack that is roughly 21 inches to the top of the bar off the bed sides and I have a stock leaf pack with a 1.5 inch add a leaf and the bottome of the tent sits about 71 inches which works for me since im only 69 inches tall.

Ill be putting Dakars in very soon so itll probably go up a bit... I set up the annex and had about 5 inches left before I zipped the floor on... The floor adds a few inches with the way it is shaped... Its kinda shaped like a square dish... Raised on the sides and a flat bottom

Thanks man. so roughly 76 inches plus the floor. that should be good enough of a measurement. I appreciate the info guys.

On Wednesday, June 29 at 10am, Tepui Tents will officially launch our Kickstarter campaign for project “White Lightning,” our first hard shell tent ever, which we previewed at Overland Expo last month. The excitement has been crazy with everyone asking how to get one. This is it! ...at least for now. People were blown away, walking up and giving us credit card numbers, trying to get on a wait list. Be one of the first to purchase this innovative and revolutionary hard shell roof top tent.
    .
It features a “best in class” super low profile of 8 inches, the first Rack ReadyTM design so you can bring your bikes, kayak or SUP and…we’re proud to say it is Made in the USA! We designed and built this innovative new hard shell tent, and with your support, we can finish out the industrial production molds and you can secure your brand new White Lightning RTT by Tepui.
    .
And you are going to want to know this!! As part of the Kickstarter, we are offering just 15 White Lighting Tents at a special Early Bird price level! There are quite a few ways to support, but act quickly, as we have already received a lot of interest and know these Early Bird models are sure to be scooped up fast! Check out the Kickstarter for details on the specially priced models, and other support levels.

And that's actually cheaper than a lot that I've seen.

    Basic overland stuff...
    Looks nice... Few questions.

What does it weigh? What is the price point after they go to production? Does the Kickstarter price include shipping?

Never looked for one to be honest. Didn't expect them to be over 3k though.

Need to admit I want one, the Tepui looks like an awesome design. Wondering if they will get cheaper after they hit production?!

I'd be willing to bet the price will go up after the kickstarter.
