Maybe it wasn't you. I saw a truck that looked like yours on Friday between Bloomfield and Cuba.

I have. I thought they didn't ship to Alaska but I checked their site again and didn't see it. Their Litchfield tent would be $1725 shipped. Any experience with one of their tents?

We're in Vancouver area West Coast Canada. We've branded our own line of RTTs. Much the same as CVT, Tepui or Smittybuilt. Made in the same factory as a matter of fact. We have an all aluminum rack design coming out as well. Just thought I'd post up some sneak preview pics here.

Perfectly. Designed it that way. Hangs exactly down to the stake-out loops.

Nice! Future goal is to get mine up like that. Going to keep looking for a cheap shell and if that fails I'll just have a taller rack made.

I was lucky to have a cab height rack, but still had to go taller. Could be done from a camper shell, too.

Here are some updates on the Hardshell Tepui tent, with some answers to some questions that have come up.
    .
These will be available on the Tepui website for pre-orders after the kickstarter campaign ends, probably mid-to-late July. The MSRP will be around $3800 but there is likely to be a pre-order discount although not as good as kickstarter. The kickstarter campaign is a great opportunity to get one of these for ~$1000 off MSRP!
    .
The side rails are 54" center to center.
Load Capacity: Max 150lbs, but Tepui does not recommend more than 60lbs unless suspension and vehicle/rack are adequate.
    Tent Weight: 150 lbs
Tent Canopy is 70D ripstop waterproof nylon
Shipping: $300 added to kickstarter pledge amount
Shipping from Hood River, OR so local pickups will likely not be available
    .
After they become available on the website, there will likely be some customization options such as vinyl wraps, solar panels, and operable skylights.
    .
Note: Made in the USA, Lowest profile hardshell on the market, interchangeable struts, rack-ready integrated side rails.

Mine sits just a little baggy at the bottom... It makes it easier to stretch it out... that sounds so wrong

@phillstill, hey sorry for the delay I was traveling and didn't have good signal. Thanks for the info and the pictures. I bought the tent yesterday after o saw your response. Regarding price, this was a Craigslist deal near me, so I don't think Autoanithing will take it. I will post pictures when I have all setup

@azn226 , thanks for the info. This is also my first RTT. I was a little nervous about pulling the trigger on this one, but after @phillstill review I was sold.

The same would apply for about 70% if not more of the folks in this thread bud. If you feel the tent will work well for your particular application dont get too wrapped up if it doesnt have all the "updated" features that the new ones have. This is reflective of their price point as well. For me i just wanted a tent that was waterproof, good in the bad weather i find myself sleeping in everytime and it'd pack up without many hiccups and thats it. Post pics when you get it on
