*THE RTT Owners Thread (With BS)*

On my trip back to NorCal from LA, which is +- 360 miles, I got low 19.something. 80mph on cruise with no traffic or passing to do (such a blessing)

 

When I had mine on my canopy It was about 1.5 mpg lower

 

Wow. If I'm driving 80mph on cruise control I'm getting about 11mpg

 

By the great beard of Zeus! I'd kill for 19 lol. I see like 16-18 if I keep it under 70 and slow down on hills lol

 

Mine's about 1-2 inches above my roof

 

It's not how it usually goes tho lol. With occasional traffic and having to pass dumb people I generally get high 17 to low 18...just nice to know it's still possible to do well

 

Yeah. I'm getting around 15-16 as long as I stay right around 70

 

My son just jumped on the kickstarter. The big selling point for him was the racks since he kayaks. They do look sweet, can't wait to see it in person.

 

Mine sits about 2-3" inches above all he cab. Haven't noticed any loss in mpg unless there's a strong cross wind.

 

Getting roughly 15 average on mine with the tent on

 

For real. I remember when I first got my truck. I could get over 300 miles out of a tank of gas. Lol. Now I'm lucky to get 260 miles out of a tank.

 

4 banger here but I noticed a loss of about 1-2 mpg highway driving

 

I gave up on keeping track. I'm in the 12-13 mpg range tho, or at least I was prior to when I stopped tracking it. i stopped tracking it after towing the trailer once.... got a sweet 8MPG that tank

 

You'll sleep better at night not knowing.

Or you purposely fuck up on the math and get a magical 30+mpg and never look again.

 

Supercharger + LT + Soon to be installed RTT= I dont even bother calculating MPG

 

It's not my DD anymore, so idrc anymore lol. It's just interesting to watch/calculate on long, boring drives through the ass crack of California

 

I get the best MPGS on 5 wheres it toally flat, like no wind, and i can just cruise control at 70. Usually get 250-300 to a tank.

 

I've gotten as low as 9 on a stock truck. I'd hate to see what would have happened if I was on 315s then

 

Thankfully mine's far from stock or I'd be pissed

 

After I put my tent on I went from getting 320 miles to a tank to getting 270 lol
