    I carry 4-6 pre-cut 2x4's which has always been enough. Last place I went had nothing close to level, so the left front was on a huge rock and then used the 2x4s in the rear to get it as close as possible.

    Also, I heard somewhere if you do have to sleep on a slope, always sleep head high or you'll wake up with a headache. Don't know if it's true, but I don't want to test it either.

    Right. Most of the time I can feel if I'm parked level or not, checking is just for peace of mind or when I know I'm out of whack and need to decide where I need blocks.

    Usually I just make sure my head isn't lying downhill when I sleep. Never really bothered getting it perfectly level before :notsure:

    I gotta get close to level, prefer my head to be just a little uphill, or I slide off of my sleeping pad really easy. Got lazy one night and didn't bother to level out...woke up with foot cramps because my feet were pressed up against the wall of the tent. I had slowly slipped off my mat and against the walls

    There was one night where I thought it was pretty level until my wife and I went to bed that night. The truck was slightly lower at the nose and I ended up being stuck between the wall of the tent and her the whole night haha

    It has a decent mattress but I'm a side sleeper, all memory foam compresses too much. The air pad doesn't compress and I don't wake up with sore shoulders and hips.
