I wish. That is my brothers shop space. We are living with them while our house sells and we find a new one. So some storage space for my crap too I guess.

If you get ahold of Bobby at CVT, he will be able to answer any of the questions that you may have. He has always been great to deal with.

I just took my expo trailer and RTT on its maiden voyage, and I know everybody wants to see pictures of the maiden voyage of my set up and they will be posted at some time, but i have a question before my next trip. I have the toytec boss lift kit. boss coilovers up front and the boss leaf pack with boss shocks in the back on my 05 dcsb. I absolutely love how the truck drives, but now that i have a trailer it sags bad to the point where i can fit only about two fingers between the bump stops and my frame and the frame shows signs of wear. I have also felt the back bottom out when hitting bumps. I need to fix this. this is a small expo trailer so not a ton of weight but enough. I know i could get a new leaf pack like the Dakars or allpro expos but i like my leaf springs and how the truck drives on and off road with the boss kit, so i really don't want new leaf springs, and they are still relatively new. I also live at 9k in the rock mountains so reliability and durability are important to me. I am not feeling the airbag set up like a lot will recommend but i have found hellwig helper springs. This looks like the perfect solution, but it seems like no one uses them why? Their are alot of smart people on this forum let me know what you think. Lastly I also have the u bolt flip kit and was wondering if i go this rout will this springs actually work now that i flipped everything. Thanks alot for everyone's input.

Like many people will tell you on here, nearly all of the spring packs are designed for flex. it's pretty simple really.
If you get springs to flex without the trailer then add the trailer, you're going to sag.
If you get springs to accommodate the trailer, you're going to be stiff on and off road without the trailer.
Now, I don't know much about the hellwig helper spring but helper (and overload) springs are designed to give you the soft feel until you add the trailer and hit the sag point; this will still limit your travel when flexing with or without the trailer. Also, every time you add a helper or overload, consider that it will add thickness to your pack which will result in you being higher in the rear or having to remove a spring from your current pack; resulting in a different ride than you currently have.

Where do you all store your annex? Of have the CVT Rainier and the Annex folded up is pretty big and takes up a lot of space. I dont always use it but want it with the tent at all times so if i need it/want it i have it.

I have the same tent and agree with you that the annex is pretty spacious. I know CVT includes a sleeping bag sized bag to store the annex, but I dont see why you couldnt fold the annex a certain way and keep it flat and store it inside the tent. :notsure:

I know there are pics (maybe a short vid) of the annex getting folded/unfolded from either side of the ladder and kept under the travel cover. But I think it might be possible/easier with the smaller tents without the overhang. Lots of fabric that adds up quick otherwise.

Thanks for the reply. I as of now just keep everything in the sack and put it wherever it fits. Folding it up with the tent sounds nice but a giant pain. I will probably just keep doing what im doing for the time being.

Frontrunner rack owners. I ordered a RTT and curious if I have to buy the tent mounter attachments from frontrunner or if I should be good with the mounting hardware from my RTT
