I think the flippacs and the habitats are super cool and would be fantastic on the right rig that's used the right way. For me with the extra weight and change in center of gravity a flippac would limit some of the places/trails I like to go. So the RTT is still the better choice for me.

It was the running tally of who had them and a link to their build. But it grew too big and OP gave up

I strap mine to the dolly because I end up moving it around our tiny garage all the time...

Bad picture, but I have a tiny garage so this is my only solution.

I run a HF wireless winch with a DC power supply. Had to install a capacitor because the inrush current would cause the power supply to go into protection mode.

Picking up my Tuff Stuff Scout tent today. Waiting on some bed bars to mount it up. I'm stoked. No more sleeping on the ground.

I want to take a minute to give a solid review for Cascadia Vehicle Tents. Got a notification today that I was getting charged an extra $65 for lift gate delivery (charged to CVT from the shipper Old Dominion). When I had talked with Old Dominion over the phone we agreed upon a 3-4pm shipping window, but the truck showed up at noon. So of course me not being there resulted in them using the lift gate and charging for it. I hadn't received any shipping information from CVT (misspelling of my e-mail address) so that alone was enough for them to handle the responsibility for the lift gate charge. I talked to some very helpful people with CVT over the phone to help get the issue resolved and for their sake I hope they are able to get the lift gate charge waived from Old Dominion for charging extra outside of my delivery window. Props to CVT!

It may be in here but has anyone put a XL size rtt on a shot bed before. Either way it's hanging off. May run it off the back until I get a trailer built

More shit then I ever planned on doing
Sure did and love it. Yes it does hang off the back quite a bit so had my tire carrier built adjustable when the bumper was ordered. I am also having my bed rack modified to support the over handing portion of the tent.

I ran it all season last year with no issues. I just made sure the kids slept on that side. IMG_3105.jpgIMG_3108.jpgIMG_3107.jpg

    Shoutout to Bobby @Cascadia Tents

Broke my zipper on my cover closing my tent, cause I'm buff as shit. A quick message to Bobby and within 5 mins I get a reply saying he will ship a new zipper out. Outstanding customer service. CVT is the only way to go folks....

*ponder* I do like good customer service...but Tepui hasn't steered me wrong yet. Haven't had to contact CS yet though

Just voicing my opinion is all. Take it for what it's worth. It's after business hours in my state at least, yet Bobby took the time to not only acknolwedge the issue, but to offer a solution to fix it.

Not to discredit but had a similar issue with tepui and I was taken care of right away, Honestly most of the Chinese made tent companies usually all have the same warranty through the original manufacture.

When originally ordered you can specify that you want YKK zippers if wanted, probably a worthwhile upgrade after breaking one myself

No that's what I call quality customer service. You don't find alot of places that will take care of you out of business hours, regardless of the issue. I'm sure Tepui would do the same, or at least I'd like to think they would! :D

There's a number of people here that I've helped with Tepui stuff outside of business hours and on weekends. I don't care what company it is, Tepui, CVT, or Chucky Cheese, customer service is a lost art and if you're getting good service from whichever company you bought stuff from, then my hats off to them. There's no excuse for poor service, and sadly poor service has become the norm so much so that when someone actually just does their job and provides service it is a shock to most people.

Good on you, brother! I will literally spend more money with a company that has excellent customer service than someone selling the same product cheaper but with shitty customer support

My friend has them and has a RTIC cooler. They are tall enough to access the cooler easily from the rear or side if positioned right, but not open the lid fully. I think they are pretty neat. Here's a side view.
