I don't see why it wouldn't, they really aren't THAT heavy. And as long as you're static when you're inside, i don't see why it wouldn't work.

Just sayin.......I've done 80+mph in the dirt with a tent mounted on my bedrack without issue. The tent will mob just fine. If your tent isn't mouted too high you won't notice too much change in your truck behavior either. If it's mounted on the roof or a rack above a canopy then you'll get some funky behavior with the weight that high. But as long as it's mounted below the roofline I wouldn't worry about needing a quick release on the tent.

    crap bolted and welded together....
this is how high mine is, as a whole its nice during the none wheeling time i get. Makes camping when i ride my dirt scooter easier since the base of the tent with annex is about 7'. Is nice to not have to crouch while changing. During wheeling season it will sit a lot lower.

I paid for the Rack, Jerry said he was building several of them. Inching closer. It will be worth the wait.

Pretty good scenery and it's about a 2-3 hour drive, not bad at all really.

Hopefully another CVT GB will happen soon. I plan on getting the Mt. Rainier. I will be picking up more steel for more armor and a bigger bed rack next week.
