Lol i was looking at those myself actually. I am curious as to how you like it. Mine is great, set up is easy but the sides get a bit wet in the rain. It soaks through after a while. Looking at options for down the road. That one caught my eye. The annex look interesting from them as well. Waiting for your review

    Not enough...
Was planning this weekend, but looks like the plans may have fallen through for a other people. I may still drive up the coast or the mountains and park somewhere on the side of the road. I'm really itching to take it out.

Well, I'll definitely have something up. Probably on my website and I'll post a link here.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but isn't the oem roof rack not able to carry much? :notsure:

Lots of people do it and they are rated at 100# dynamic so static should be considerably more
If it explodes tho I'll be the first to let you guys know(right after I tell my insurance)

Yes, but I figure Toyota has to under rate it because if it failed with something that was 99# they could be liable

I've seen others do it, so monkey see monkey do
And this rack has a limited life span with me I'm thinking a Prinsu or a custom rack will be coming very soon

It's called over-engineering. Everything that has some type of limit typically can withstand a little bit more so they can't get sued
