Hey guys, looking to get a RTT, I saw that pop up on Amazon. I like how it covers up the ladder, so it would make it easier to get in when raining.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rooftop-Ten...ash=item25d0c8f354:g:tkMAAOSwFJBZVKoS&vxp=mtr

I searched the thread for YAAO but I didn't find anything, not sure if this is new, or a knock off of another tent. Thoughts? Like the price, just want to make sure I can get parts or the parts from another tent will fit it if stuff breaks.

looks decent. Also looks like a knockoff. YAAO sounds like a chinese company that sells everything from kitchen supplies, to RTTs. Up to you, if you want to try it out. If you were closer to VA, you should consider my tent. Its a name brand, and easy to get parts for, if it came to that.

    just my 2 cents..

I think those commercial caps have higher load ratings than the fiberglass ones

I second this. Thinking logically :)rolleyes:), commercial shells should be meant to handle a load more so than a fiberglass shell. Think about all the ladders, pipe, conduit, etc. that you see strapped to the roof of these things going down the street.

I'd say you're good to go...now order the hard shell, auto opening, pimped out version with climate control already.

Im not that baller/glamper. Ordering the softshell M49. Ill add that other stuff if needed, later, but not the hardshell.

Ill also add an internal cage to the shell eventually. I dont want all my welds to crack like the last cap that I had.
