Eh I figured I'd spill into other forums like the 2nd gen guys do to the 3rd gens.. lol

 

Who has lights/ power in their set ups?

 

I take the thermcell lantern into the tent at night, the carrying handle can wedge between the top middle bar and tent fabric.

Eventually will add 2 USB outlets for power

 

I'm thinking of led lights on their own power supply that can be charged by the truck or solar or something... Debating going dual batter because I'm not sure if I'll be keeping this exact truck

 

Does anyone run power into their RTT? For lighting and charging stuff. I was thinking it might be nice to have an LED (one bright, one soft) and a couple of USBs. Obviously, the RTT wouldn't be up there all the time, so the wiring would have to be unpluggable. Any thoughts?

 

Furthermore, how would one run wires without making a leak possible

 

From what I've seen people go through the hinge flap

 

That's where I run my drop cords through. Just run the cord and then lay the Velcro back down.

 

Do the led strips come in complete sets with the connectors and stuff? Got some ideas brewing

Less pressure bearing down on the material/no creases?

 

I mean will it cause significant damage, or am I just being to cautious, it's kind of the only way I can store it, unless I keep it on my truck
