Mine sat like that for all six months of last winter and had no problems this summer. I'm probably taking it off tomorrow and it will sit like that again until May.

I've stored mine two winters on its side without problem. CVT says to not place it directly on concrete, so I have a layer of styrofoam between tent and floor.

 

Isolate from that moisture

 

How would a rtt handle irma?

 

Wouldn't be a problem...if it was folded up.

 

you sleep in the rtt, truck sleeps under water.. Its not fair to the truck

 

Took the family to Tahquamenon Falls then camped next to Crisp Point light house. CVT Mt. Rainier was more than comfortable.

 

Went up to a friends property in southern CO from Sat through Wed and it was awesome.

Surely there is no way I am the only one thinking this: what the hell is wrong with that water?

 

I believe it's caused by tannins in the leaves that fall in the water.

 

Hello RTT gurus

Having some trouble getting my RTT to line up correctly. I've tried loosening the hinge and wiggle it into place but this is as close as I can get it. Any tips to get this to fully seat in the channel?

 

That essentially means the water leached the pigment out of the leaves, much like coffee or tea?
