I'll do a bit of checking on interest before offering a group buy. The timing of the last one wasn't ideal with the CVT one happening almost on top of it. Besides, TW is full of CVT fanboys. One day you'll see the light and go with Tepui. ;)

I like the look of the new cvt fly but I feel like its just gonna catch that much more wind. Glad I didn't wait for the GB as there appears to be shipping delays again.

my ladder is within 2* of the recommended placement thank you very much.

Well last year they didn't get a chance to plan ahead for it and this year they tried to plan ahead but sold way more tents than they ever imagined.

Wasn't there a ton of shipment issues as far as people getting the wrong tent too? Pretty sure Marc was sent the Bachelor twice instead of the Shasta and he was outside of the group buy. It would be sweet is if I ordered a shasta and got a trailer tent or larger RTT .

Just sucks when you can't get your tent when you want it . I was upset because tepui took a few extra days to ship it. Probably due to them doing pick up/drop off in groups though.

I think the bulk of the "shipment issues" were from UPS mangling them in transit which is why they switched to FedEx this year. I wasn't aware of anybody else getting the wrong model but I suppose it could happen to anybody. Having that amount of orders to process is such a short time has got to be a logistical nightmare!

Well at least they can't send me a smaller tent since I ordered the Bachelor! I don't think I would want a Shasta though, I like the smaller size for my truck.

I see the light every weekend now lol. There is a lot of interest still, I'll forward all the people that have contacted me in the last month. I think if you were to do one in the next couple months it would be a hit. When I spoke with Evan last though he said he didn't want to do another, but it may be different for you because you are a dealer....

the bachelor and shasta are the same size tent, just the overhang makes the shasta look bigger. and all closed up, ready for travel, they look the same.
