I just purchased a BDS coilovers suspension lift and the ICON 1.5" add a leaf pack and I already have the Hellwig overload springs on top of my stick springs, I tried the Expedition rear springs from Allpro and they sagged too much with my cooler/rod rack in the rear, sent them back and put the stock springs in with the Overload pack from Hellwig, now it will haul my rack loaded with my 210 Yeti and all my fishing gear. I haven't installed the lift yet or the ICON leaf pack. Thanks for the info on the RTT.

I plan on using graphite spray, I've had pretty good luck with other trucks I've had with leaf springs, take the center pen out spray each spring and clamp back together. Never had much in the way of noise from the springs after that.

I've been running the Dakar leafs for 25,000 miles or so and they've been perfect. No squeaks at all. I have a camper shell installed full time and Tepui RTT part time.

I am running a set of Dakars with ICON progressive AAL pack along with Toytec shackles that work pretty good. I may reinstall my factory shackles as it sits a little high in the rear now.

This is the setup I am going with next. RTT and bed bars are already squatting the rear some and I am on OG leaf pack plus 3 leaf AAL with overload left in. Loaded with camping gear it squats too much for my liking. First world problems, right?

Long time Blake. Hope all is good.

Thanks man. Things have been good. Just crazy busy and not much fuck off time for the forum. Lol.

I get a touch under 1/4" inch of squat adding the shell and about the same adding the RTT. Even with both on and full of gear it's not noticeable. The Dakar leafs handle it perfectly.

My truck is stock minus kings and ome dakars medium leaf pack. I wonder how much the rear will sag if i add a rago rab overland bars and a rtt with esti average weight of 150 lbs? My front from ground is 39.75in and rears are about the same 39.75in. Pretty level . Any input? If anything i can upgrade to the ome dakars heavys

Looks like you’ve got quite a bit of preload on your fronts. What’s your spring rate on the coils? Nobody wants to hear this but if your “level” now, you could probably stand to pull some preload out if your rear starts to sag. The other option would be to add the overload leaf in and if necessary a D29XL.

My RTT is on a trailer but my truck has so much damn extra weight it’s borderline stupid. On the back I’ve got shell, racks, BedSlide, toolbox, full-size spare, etc. and I was sitting level with old Dakar pack but would sag with a load. Added the D29XL and got a little rake back.

Im not sure on spring rate but theyre 600lb springs. Ive heard 15 threads is about 2.5in lift . So i did 15 drivers and 13 passenger. I didnt go a measurement before the lift. Yeah i can take preload out the front or upgrade to ome dakar heavies . Since i will have bedrack, rtt, full size 5wheel, and camping stuff

Has anyone used the Tuff Stuff Anti-Condensation mat? I need to pick one up for my tent and they are the least expensive.

For mounting I would go with Prinsu racks since you can match them with roof racks. I think that looks really good.
