My reply quoted above has the links to McMaster Carr and the options I used. There are other options though. Look at their Tamper Resistant section: https://www.mcmaster.com/#tamper-resistant-nuts/=1d8nbh8

We camped up in the Uintas last weekend as well! And we did the same thing, rolled the fly back so we could stare at the stars. We'll have to catch up sometime! 1st gens ftw!

He's 8 months old and is super cool. I wish he could handle hot and cold better with being outdoors but he's totally worth it.

Probably my favorite place to camp in Utah. (Outside of Moab of course) It was such a beautiful night, like I said we rolled the rain fly back so we could look at the stars all night. @Cascadia Tents still killing it.

This is ours! She just turned two. We have a sweater we put on her when we camp, and we let her sleep in the sleeping bag with us. She even has her own camp chair so we can put her by the fire haha. They're awesome dogs, but not built for the wilderness.

We're taking him camping for the first time this weekend. Good call on bringing him a chair. He does rock a sweater when it's cooler outside. Also a very good call. I'm starting a list right now of things we need to bring for him that is outside of the hiking loadout.

This place is awesome! It's a little lake up south of Mirror Lake. I'll see if I can look up which forest road you take to get there, I can't remember off of the top of my head.

PM inbound! I wish I knew them better as I'm sure there are more places that are just as awesome as this.

    Got it thanks!

Yea there is alot to check out up there for sure. We only stayed a night near Shoestring Lake, and then adventured around Alexander Lake and tons of places to pull off and explore/set up camp.

Highly recommend the Racor ceiling storage lift. Backed the truck it, unbolt, lift, and drive out.

Looking to join the RTT club. I've found a seller on Craigslist in my area that is willing to sell his twice used, bought last year, smittybuilt overlander for a good price in my opinion, about 300 off full price. What would be the possible hidden issues to look at? I understand that smittybuilt is regarded as lower quality, but I can't justify 1500 dollars start out.

I'm sure others will add in, but the normal tent stuff, like torn seams, busted zippers, broken straps, etc.
