Anyone having issues with a fiberglass topper cracking with the RTT mounted on top? Concerned it would crack one if i hit a bump while off-roading. Will the kb voodoo rack work with a soft topper???

Awesome pic. I'm heading down to Bend in a week to pick up one just like it. It's hard to beat 30% off just for the color.:taco:

    Yeah.
    +1

Tip: Hang a jug of water from each of the supports to put some weight on them before your raise it without the tent. It keeps the cables from getting all jacked up.

I like the camo because it stays dark as shit inside in the direct sun.

I liked it, it does get more firm when it gets colder though. Wife also liked it, but has requested some additional softer pad be added to the top to give it a bit more cushion.

In case anyone was wondering, you can fit mountain bikes over the tail gate with the RCI rack but you do have to remove the seat and it is a tight fit.

The whole trip was unreal. Oregon was amazing. We had to skip a lot of stuff in California because we spent 3 days on Rubicon and were tired of 12 hr driving days but still the whole thing was amazing

When you don’t want to drive around with the RTT on all the time and it won’t fit in your garage, you gotta find another way.
Gantry from Northern Tool does the trick. Now I just gotta run to the hardware store to get some stuff for attachment points for the hoists.

Yeah it kills me that I don't have a garage to set up a hoist for storage. Looking forward to hearing how this turns out for you.

How are you attaching them? I think I might need longer straps. My tent is 48" wide plus 12" or so on each side. I probably need 12-13 ft to make it work the way I'm seeing it my my head. Of course, it's been a log day at work and maybe I'm just not getting how it would work.

It's my first full suspension bike so naturally I love riding the hell out of it. Still working on the skill set though.

It's my first full suspension bike as well. I was going so much faster when I first got it that I went over the handle bars a few times.

Cut 'em and screw them in in-place of the supplied straps. Burn the edges to prevent fraying.

Straps don’t go all the way around the tent. You would only need 6-7 feet. (2x12” sides and the 48” top = 6 feet, plus extra to pull through buckle)

    1. Cut the new straps on buckle side 5-6” down.
    2. Drill out the rivets on the underside (flat bar that holds the factory straps
    3. lay old strap over new 4.
    5. cut new strap to fit.
    6. Find screws that fit the drilled holes
    7. screw on the flat bar over the new straps.
    8. Enjoy a beer
