Nice. I recently switched from a bedrack to some of Eddy's bars as well, and I've gotta get longer bolts too. How did the exhaust clamps work out? I'm wanting to ditch the flat bar crap that came with my FSR tent since I need longer bolts anyway.

Had a nice weekend with the tent. Got my set up pretty dialed in.

CBI makes attachments for them that aren't on their website. We're talking In-N-Out style secret menu.. :anonymous: They made my HiLift mounts and they look awesome and function super well. I've seen Maxtrax mounts that they've made.

Anyone running an RCI rack with an awning? I currently have my RTT on it and no roof rack so I am trying to figure out a creative way to mount an awning. Maybe out the rear using an L bracket of some sorts?

My CVT awning came with L brackets and just ran them out the opposite side of my RTT

Good to know...thanks! It's going on my CBI bed bars, so should be easy peasy...may even be able to bolt directly to the slots in the bars versus the plates:fingerscrossed:

I ended up getting some shorter bolts so they didn't stick down too far and I could probably get some slightly bigger washers but I haven't had any issues bouncing through some pretty good terrain so far.

Tried that with my rack, was more of a pain than just using the plates.

I'd recommend some fender washers. Cheap insurance

I need to rack some rtt owners brains!! I have the choice of getting a couple different types/brands of rtt on discount. Only problem is im kind of stuck.

The brands are burmis and treeline. Both albertan companies local to me.

A gentleman has a brand new burmis 3-4 person rtt with annex for 2500$ . And another has a gently used treeline tamarack no annex(500$ extra) 2-3 person for 2450$ no annex

The burmis does not have the overhang above the annex so u will not stay covered while going below.
Where as the treeline does but id have to buy an annex. I want to keep my fridge etc in the annex so is it a big dealbeing enclosed or not with the annex. Also as a side note is the 3-4 person tent/footprint gonna look big/be to big on the back of a taco? Like 6 feet by...

Yeah, I didn't realize I had that small of washers until I took the pics tonight. Not sure what I was thinking using those.

I don't have any experience with Burmis but I saw a handful of different Treeline models at the NW Overland Rally, including one owned by a friend I was camping with and I was very impressed with their design and build quality.

Treeline is deffinetly my top pick just trying to figure out if the 2-3 man is the right size for me. And if i went bigger would it be weird on the taco/too big.

They very often have returned/slightly damaged/or unboxed demos on discount if anyone is looking for one.
