Some POS just cut my CVT cover up tonight. Need a new cover and strap. Rain fly looks pretty cut up too. What are my options? It’s a MT Shasta from CVT about 5 years old.

Damn, that sucks. Were they trying to steal it, or just vandalize it?

I have always had (what i thought was) an irrational fear of this happening. See that you figured out the cover situation, and you can get stronger buckle straps on Amazon and cut them to fit. Good time to upgrade them!

Little Gorilla tape should hold it for the journey home. CVT’s website says the covers are on back order :(. Hopefully next week I can build new straps for it. I actually have those straps you guys posted laying around in my garage for other uses. I’ll see what I can do.

Rain fly is pretty tore up though. Lots of short cuts all over. Have to figure that out or buy a new one... oh well at least they didn’t break a window.

That's infuriating. I'll never understand what motivates some twat to do something like that. Tear-Aid is a pretty good product (they make a vinyl and fabric kit) that might help on the rainfly, good luck.

Ah, the joys of having tires stick out beyond the fenders. Mine were always covering the sides of the truck and bed with mud.

How is everyone storing their RTTs when not in use? Unless you keep it on your rig full time, I was looking into a hoist pulley system. I wanted to get an idea of how else everyone is storing theirs.
