Looks like those are screwed in. I have my bikes hung the same way. Why I only now just thought of doing this with my RTT? No clue. Must have been drinking watered down beer.

Thank you! Been around for a bit but don't post much. We were near Sharon, VT. Nice quick getaway in the middle of nowhere!

    Glad I could help!

The latter...3/8" X 4" lag thread screw eyes in the ceiling joists, 3/8" X 4" eyebolts nutted with fender washers (top and bottom) in the 2" X 3" X 56" stud crossbars. It will hold way more than the RTT...

    805 and Guinness!

My rack has loops to connect hooks and I lift both off the truck when not needed. Then I put the toneu cover on the bed.

I built a lift around some Lowe's pulleys and a harbor frieght 40:1 hand crank winch. Which I turn with a cordless drill, because fuck turning that by hand.

No offense taken! I earned that one.

I did the road trip with my 6 year old son, and I’m not sure who had more fun.

Forgot about the RTT thread. You guys will appreciate this. I shortened an RV awning, got rid of the 'awning' bit, and ribbed the rail so rope winds nicely around it. I centered it between 4 pulleys so it pulls equally to either side of it. Technically I could have placed it to any side of the pulleys and lengthened the rope to accommodate the pulleys furthest away. But I have lots of garage height so I didn't need to. Plus i thought if it was mounted to one side It might start to rock on the drywall after a while.

I can either wind it the traditional way with a pole and hook, or I use a drill with a hook in the chuck, works awesome.

Also I reduced the pulleys so the awning assembly is only pulling half the weight up.

Don't rely on the wife. I have a big scratch and a new tail light because mine couldn't help me pick up my aluminum rack that weighs about 80 lbs(bulky). Better doing it yourself or buying a hoist.

My new tent was used, but never slept in. Guy gave me a free hoist with it.

I bought a used tent for a killer deal, even with the issues it has. Most of it was small issues that require new Velcro or a little sewing.

One main issue I'm trying to solve it the hinge system doesn't fold all the way flush when opened. It looks like the floor is bowed, was thinking about ways to fix it but figured I would see if anyone here has remedied that?

    I'll post pictures later today

How much? Got my Tepui Autana 4 for $1500 perfect shape. Was super excited. Missed out on a ruggedized on in ohio for 1k. Couldn't get a ride out. Not allowed to drive after my arm surgery.
