Hey guys just looking into rooftop tents. Wanting some opinions/advice. I have a double cab short bed and have a hookup for some cbi bars from a buddy. I’m kind of stuck between 4 brands: tepui, fsr, vagabond and smittybuilt. Trying to save money but still get a quality tent and I figure you kind of get what you pay for just want some opinions. Would only be a 2-3 person tent, I read back a few pages but didn’t find what I was looking for. If this questions been asked and answered can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks!

 

My vote is FSR!

 

my suggestion would be find the size you want, then find out which one fits your budget. If i were to do it all over again, i'd probably go with an FSR or a hard shell for lack of window rods and less "set up" even though its not difficult whatsoever.

19 yo * 3 mesters/year for 57 trimesters. I started to decline at 78-79 trimesters. It's all downhill from here.

I am just promoting to you guys because i love their stuff. Ive had 2 of their tents, and just ordered my 3rd. Loved them all, shouldn't have strayed. Im testing out what works for me. I camp in all conditions.
