Heck yeah man! Or when you get home from work and have a little person running and jumping into your arms it’s a pretty good feeling

 

my dog gets really excited and shakes his whole body when I get home. it's pretty great and I don't have to wipe his butt.

 

Gonna send this idea to my wife. She'll love it.

 

He can do that all by himself!

 

So I could have sold you my SC? 3400 installed was a good price. I kind of don't miss it

I might like a dog, but sometimes I don't go home after work, and id feel guilty

 

Im sure someone would pay for that experience. Or at least a ride out and camp. Maybe you'd have to cook too..

Well, we've already talked about inviting some friends out who don't normally do this sort of thing... so we might find out how that would go. Maybe they could help cover gas at least?

 

Ugh, this is where I'm at. Looking at this house, I got one with a massive back yard, just because I could get a dog. I really don't know what to do.

 

You definitely have more options where you are. In VA I would need to drive 2+ hours which kind of kills it for others. I guess it wouldn't if someone else was driving.

Also, I deleted my back seat, so I could only take 1 person

 

Enjoy that mow. If i was serious about a dog, i would fence mine in.

I want a dog, but some people are telling me they still have social anxiety and need meds. That gets expensive too. But companionship trumps all?

 

they can def be expensive. they get sick, get hurt, need surgeries, meds, etc etc. still cheaper than a kid...

 

hm interesting...I actually don't have pet insurance lol...

I love that this is in the RTT thread....but do you do that through your vet?

 

Thankfully it is a big unobstructed rectangle, so its gonna be quick to mow. And it's already fenced, so that's a plus.

 

Mine is a 20 min mow. At least I don't need to go under my deck, because grass just doesn't grow there

I'm really surprised the concept of pet insurance is as new as it is. Although, before the 2000s, a pet was a pet. A loved family member for sure, but not a quasi-kid as a lot are today.

 

Gonna log 3 nights in mine this weekend. Headed to western Colorado for some Easter Dirt Church!!!

Not in the same sense as today I don't.

I'm thinking you should find a job in UT, then we can split a dog, and then each feel a little better. I know a guy with a spare room.
