for the guys who have the annex do you leave it on when you close up the tent? or do you unzip it each time? also is your ladder on the inside of the annex or outside?

I know with my tent, the CVT Mt Shasta, there would be no way to close the cover with annex on it. On my model the ladder is on the annex. It varies with model.

well i don't know any details about which tent you have so its hard for me to be able to know if it will work for you.

but I leave my annex attached all the time. there is a zipper next to the ladder which i always leave open.

Come on man, you need to give more details than that... Are you on stock suspension? do you have an add a leaf? do you have a heavy duty leaf pack?

if you want to see what 200lbs will do to your truck get a 200lb friend to stand in the bed of your truck.

some people say it can't stay on, but in my experience with my mt bachelor from last year's group buy, I leave the annex on.

did you drill new holes for the locking pins? you need to set up the tent and set the ladder at about 33*, mark the location of hte pins and drill in new holes

Do you have the 2 piece ladder (like mine) or the telescoping one?

You were able to leave the annex n and get the cover zipped over it? Have any photos? That would be awesome if I could figure how to do that to mine!

    OK...just ignore me then.
IIRC CVT had some trouble with a batch of those ladders and they would slowly retract through the night so when you went to get out of the tent the next morning you had to make sure the ladder was still there. They got that sorted out but went back to the 2 piece ladders.
