Interesting point that I have not thought of. Guess I might just buy one of them eye cover things to sleep in

Do you run the exped ontop of the stock mattress or by itself?

Heat can be an issue as well. The darker tents don't turn into a sauna nearly as badly, even with heavier fabric like my ruggedized.

i loved my Camo Tepui because it was so dark, even in direct sunlight. So far the grey from CVT is nice during the morning hours as well.

Id hate the hi-vis or the new Tepui white. Who the hell thought white would be ideal?!

On top, but only because I have the ventilation mat under the stock mattress and it's uncomfortable AF to crawl across. I've debated about pulling both out but have no place to store them at the moment.

Exactly. I know lots of people that get up at dawn though so maybe its only a issue for some of us?

Depends on how many craft beers were consumed the night before.

I am thinking about pulling the stock and then cutting the anticondensation mat to the exped length. Would definitely make it easier having the tent floor available for a heater or even storing shoes and packs.

I'm one of those people that like to get up at sunrise. But even those times I sleep in it doesn't get bright enough inside to wake me up having the orange ruggedized tent :notsure:

ive wanted the skycamp for a bit. Hard shell, thinner than my CVT and large enough for my giraffe ass.

Solid idea actually. I’d do the same except I’d rather keep it together for resale in a few years. Probably upgrading to the Alu-Cab at some point.
