I'm sure lol. I like to keep my fridge and everything covered. If I didnt care about that, I'd get the midrack, which I might look into haha.

Would your fridge not be able to fit under the softopper with the RTT underneath it?

This is the only thread that talks about it. here

    Yes.
Just picked up my gofsr high country, local dealer price matched Amazon and got me out within 10 minutes. I skipped the $200 install since I will enjoy breaking my back putting it back on top of the shell. Also they were out of stock of the annex so I’ll have to order that directly from freespirit.

Camped out and went to Silver Dollar City with the kiddo. Some leveling blocks would have came in handy.

Not sure. My setup is pretty tall. Might take the SOS rack to a metal shop and have them lower it roughly 6 inches. Tons of space above the topper and rack. Maybe the lower profile will help.

The set up is looking sick. I kinda miss the tarp over the redneck ladder rack though

To the dudes using the smittybilt rtt, what size bed sheets are you using? And if you have a mattress topper, what one and what size?

That’s pretty bad. I run a RTT, shell, rear bumper, lift, loaded with kids and camping gear and still pull at least 15.5 mph.

Slept on the south shore of Long Island last night. Awesome night till I packed up the tent (cvt mt shasta) and noticed a 4” rip going straight up from each pivot point and that killed the whole mood. 3rd time in the tent. Any words of advice on how to fix/replace it? I didn’t snap any pics I was in a bit of a panic :frusty:

    Yeah.
There's already a gap at the pivots with flaps on the inside and outside of the tent to cover them. Do you mean it ripped beyond that?

    July 4, 2019.

Our trip to SE Idaho complete, we started heading towards home. Of course, we'd never make it - a stop at Ben and Kirsten's @m3bassman being our jumping off point for another several-day adventure in their home state.

......We didn't pause long at any given site however - trucks pulling trailers and boats headed both ways along the road, prompting us to continue on. In fact, as had been true most of the day, there was so much traffic that Ben and Mikey didn't even stop as we passed what was perhaps the epitome of the #insta-overlanding boom that we find ourselves in these days - I mean, you can't get much more over-land than an airplane, can you? LOL.

Read the first day and see what we saw:
Deadwood Res. & Dagger Falls - Idaho (Crowdaho) in July

Don’t have answers to your questions but I just use sleeping bags. No sheets besides the cover it came with.

This weekend I plan on opening it up to air out and put in our summer sleeping bags. I’m also going to be measuring for a foam topper. So maybe I can be of some help then lol

I believe the size you’ll need is a Full XL. Which I’ve never even heard of other then Online. But it still won’t be long enough to cover the whole thing

no need for sheets etc.......don't over think it

sleeping bag zipped out flat.....blanket(s) over top

colder weather may need to improvise zipping bags together

the styrofoam sheeting packed with tent may be an option to place under

mattress for a cold weather barrier....that's my plan
