AAL sounds like the solution for you. Cheap and easy to install

Thanks, my one worry is that I do the simple AAL and it gets me back to level but I plop two people in the tent and I'm back to sagging. Never having looked into AAL's and full packs I'm not sure how to calculate the best spring to load ratio.

I have been happy with my ICON three leaf AAL, I gained about 1.5 inches and it isn't harsh like the single ones.

Full pack would be the better option but AAL is basically a bandaid but will get what you want for the time being. But all springs are wear items, but I'm not up to speed on which AAL works best for 2nd gens but I know Icon has a good one that a lot of people use

So it looks like the band-aid is something like this:
    AAL 1.5 inch lift kit.jpg

and could work fine but ideally I would get into something like this:
    OME 2 inch lift pack.jpg

Just a couple I grabbed off the web but those two types of options seem like the best for me so far.

That is the exact setup I am currently running on my truck. I did replace the two OME overloads for the factory overload.

Basically, you can always throw in an AAL to the full pack if it ever starts to sag again. But up to you and how much you want to deal with installing/paying for parts

    Awesome! Thanks for the help!

I'm going to start with the AAL and go from there, now to find some post holiday cash to spend! :)

Looking to get the max modular rack by kbvoodoo. I will most likely pair it with a Smittybilt Overlander XL.

Question is should I go with the 10in or 14in height?

Im getting the tonneau brackets so that will raise it 1 1/2 in i believe.

I have a 10” KB Voodoo rack with the tonneau brackets, it’s a nice height for the rtt. The majority of the tent is still behind the cab, instead of sticking up in the wind.

If you want to do it cheaply, get a good add a leaf. They'll get you a little higher up and it'll still ride about the same or better. I'm curious how they lifted the rear before... is there a block between the leaf pack and the axle?

If you go with a full leaf pack I'd recommend going with one from Deaver. They're expensive, so not really what you're asking for, but I didn't know I could love a leaf pack until I got this one.

Thanks. Also I think the XL tent will stick past the tailgate a bit. I dont think it will be a problem though
