Got my rack back on my truck. But all the camping places nearby are closed, so no huge rush in putting my tent back on..

Go off the grid. We took the entire family for three days out of reality, it was a nice break. Heading out again next week.

I guess I meant the state forests are closed. Im not sure about the national forests or fire roads. Ive had my tent off for a month - on hiatus while I was doing the mods

Forests are the absolute last thing they should close. Why would they 'close' that?

because so many people are "social distancing" by hiking. I was reading an article that hiking trails should not be used because the communities nearby dont have the amount of hospitals that a metropolitan area does

I know this would seem like common sense but; don't visit the community then?

In PA the campgrounds and park offices are closed, but you can still go. The state park closest to me has open areas along the river that you can still camp at. They are first come first serve though, and likely in use if everyone is heading out of cities. ANF has dispersed camping and a lot of roads/areas to explore. I'm just not too familiar with it. Only the small 10 mile area I hunt. There is some neat history though. At one time there was an enemy concentration camp housed there after the CCC started a camp. I haven't had a chance to camp and use the tent yet. Driving me nuts, but getting a lot done around the house to free up time later this year.

@fatfurious2 I did finally get a pic with the tent on, albeit a terrible one. Hopefully deploy in the next week or two.

Here's my new setup. Tepui Low Pro 3 mounted on a Leer 100rcc with a Rhino Rack Pioneer platform. Also added an Exped Duo 10 LW sleeping mat per TW recommendations.

Okay one more question. Think id be able to run an rtt on my ARE v series shell (base model not reinforced) if i put the tent on a quality rack like front runner? Or would the weight still crack it over time?

Someone running a similar rig for years would need to comment on this. However, this question has been answered multiple times throughout this thread, including by me. I, and others are running standard (not reinforced) fiberglass shells made by various companies (Leer, Snug Top etc.) and had no problems so far.
Personally, I am running Prinsu style top rack on a Leer XR100 with an iKamper tent (150-160lbs), I put my entire family, wife and two daughters up in the tent. I go offroad on almost all of my trips, been running this for almost 2 years. So far so good.
