    I’ve been around long enough to know that in a few years time the factory Toyota DAI will become the most sought after part on the webz.

    the add will read:

    “OEM Desert Air Intake (AKA Dorkel) for sale: $1900.00. local pickup or you pay shipping. Comes with original hose clamps (very rare) and screws. Some trail rash. No low ballers. I know what I got”


    I already want one more than ever.

    They have their place, I'm just not sure why Toyota choose to go above the roof line with the intake section. A well thought out snorkel through the cowl area tucked against the pillar that stops at the roof line would be functional and not look like a babies arm hanging out the hood.

    I think I heard once that Uptop Overland could be working on such s snorkel. I might be interested, just for looks of corse.
