Hey guys... I was wondering if you experience this..... I currently have a pro-comp 6' lift, 2wd v6 '05. Not sure how to explained it but when I'm going 50+ mph on the fwy my stick shift shakes. It shakes really bad. Then when i put it in neutral doesn't shake as much... do you know what might be the cause of this. Thanks for your help and solution.. :)

sounds like tire balance issues being transmitted through the truck.

Thanks for all your advices... I just bought some 35' pro-comp extreme m/t. Planning to mount them on this weekend, hopefully the shakes will go away. Should i get alignment and tire balance when they put them on? thanks

Absolutely. If you still shake after that you probably need to address the driveline angle: carrier bearing drop and axle shims, both cheap and easy.

I just did the carrier bearing drop and 2.5 degree under leaf shims. Vibes are gone and I didn't have to spend $500 on a one piece drive shart:woot:

Did the vibration just start occuring?

Crawl underneath your truck and check some of the tranny mounts & t-case mounts - just in case. When you're in neutral, there's no 'power' being sent to the driveshaft and no torque being applied to the driveline.

How long has it been since you've had the 6" lift? I know those lifts tend to have lots of extra crossmembers & brackets. Perhaps something came loose?
