Thank you I might grab another set of wheels and put 235/85/16 Pro's on them.

In the words of the great and wise well dressed Bruce Buffer, "Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiits TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!"
Time to do my suspension, slap on new tires, bumper, and whatever else needs addressed while we are under there.
Going ARB deluxe bumper, so I'll do OME 882, AAL, RAC, and hang some 255/85/16's on my stock taco rims.
Pry going to go with Yokoh Geos as I think we can get them under 200 clams per at the local CO-OP.
Otherwise was thinking Toyo Open Countries.
I wish they made an A/T tire in this size.
    Thoughts?

Anyway, I'm about to drop 3k at Wheelers, so anyone here represent them and want to "steer" me in the right direction or be my contact when I place this order?
Not sure if sales persons there receive commission...

    Also open to other companies.
I have checked out a few, but Wheelers seems the most professional, comparably priced, and they seem to have the cheapest price on that ARB bumper I think I no longer want, but need...

The rest will just be maintenance stuff while I'm under there.
Ball joints and bushings will be handled with the RAC.,
I'll do tie rod ends, sway bar bushings...
    What else am I missing?

Pressed for time with work and knew that if I just threw a post out there, someone would throw me a line.
Looking forward to posting before and after pics.

Thanks my friendly taco consumers !!!

    I know!!!
I like em' and have read mostly good things.
I've read far worse things on the Geos.
However, alas, my father will kill me if I get Coopers.
Every farmer in his area, south ease Nebraska, "hates" Coopers.
I think they are just salty.
They also have no idea why I would want such skinny tires...

Thoughts on the Wheelers "13mm Poly Front Lift Enhancer Kit"?
For 23 bones, I was just going to order anyway, and see how I feel when push comes to shove...

Brand New but second set of these, I have had the Cooper Pro's to. My problem is I never keep wheels and tires long enough to give honest reviews.

Damn that's sexy, I'm defiantly leaning towards the maxx now.
    255 however.
I think I may have problems with the 235 being a first gen taco.
Plus I like the more tall narrow profile.

I think the Cooper Maxx may be a more versatile tire.
I primarily will only be driving on concrete and the gravel between...

I have had two sets of ST Maxx tires, 33's and 35's, both lasted til before I traded the rigs they were on! Both saw a lot of gravel hwy's and one set saw real wheeling. I have the TOyo 255's on my tacoma now, I went with them because they measure 33.5 whereas the coopers measure 32.8, both drive fantastic but the coopers last longer. This is my 2nd set of 255 Toyo's.... both are great, if you want the tallest then go Toyo, if you want them to last a little longer I think the cooper is the choice

I had the Geolander A/T's on my old Jeep. They were a decent tire, pretty good all around but didn't really excel anywhere. Plus for an A/T tire they didn't have a very aggressive look or tread pattern. Put the Coopers on my Tacoma a few months ago and have enjoyed them quite a bit. Perform really well on and off road and have handled the first couple snow storms we've had pretty well. Definitely a bit rougher ride though. The Geolander's are probably lighter, more affordable and more well mannered on pavement. So if you're being practical they may be a better option.
