I just replaced set in 255/85/R16. I live in Colorado. Lots of snow and ice road days logged. They worked great. I almost hit 60K before replacing.

What fits and what doesn't, on stock suspension, skinny tires will soon to be my journey.
Anyone else running my (soon to be) configuration, your input would help me narrow the tire choices down a bit faster!!

215/80R17 would be ideal for stock ratios. No one makes that animal in A/T.

Would you be able to post a few pictures of the Mastercraft CXTs when you had them on your truck?

After reading this entire thread, I am still confused if a 255/85r16 would fit without cmc or pinch weld fold on a 16x8 et 0 wheel set.

It’s the offset I am worried about.

ok, is it dumb of me to go from a 265/65-R17 Bridgestone Dueler HL Alenza Plus to a Falken Wildpeak A/T3W in the 255/70-R17 size just cuz I want a "beefier" look and not the "wimpy" look of my current tires? The Falkens are SL rated and are only 3.6lbs heavier each then the Bridgestone Dueler HL Alenza Plus......and the size is .50" taller and .40" narrower (Using the tire size calculator on here) which is fine by me!......my truck is a 2wd and I drive 95% on road and it's my daily driver work truck but I want something better in the wet and something I can take to the snow or fire road......I certainly don't want a crappy on road ride however......and I don't want to lose a ton of MPG's......and I've read great reviews all around on the Falkens......I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon at 3pm and I'm hoping for some guidance.......

I love mine. They are amazing in the wet weather, and though they look beefier than the stock tires, they are actually pretty mild. They ride great and though there is a slight hit to mpgs it's not terrible. I would not hesitate.

Anyone running jba upper control arms with 255x80x17's on stock wheels? Their website has me a bit confused, says you need less than stock offset for 255's or you'll rub. I'm wondering if the uca sticks out further than other aftermarket uca's, specifically the metal around the ball joint. Before I blow my money lol

I can’t help with personal experience but when I was looking into getting JBAs I asked them about something similar and they sent this link. It’s a little better than what’s under the actual product page.
