A saw a fresh set of 255/80r17 Toyo AT3 on a Frontier today. They look really good! Too bad they don’t make them in 16”

    I bet they wouldn’t even make it in a 33 for a 16 that’s about 50 pounds

I meant 255/85r16, they do make them in lots of other 16” sizes.

Nothing to report from these ones. I'm not as hard on them as some guys. But the truck isn't a pavement princess either. Handled lots of rocks, and tree branches and stumps while out in the back country hunting.

Found out my Kenda 33/10.5r17 have some balancing issues on 2 of the 5 tires in the set. One vibrates from 60-70 pretty bad, the other vibrates from 65-75 less as bad but still annoying. From my research tires are only balanced up to 60mph by a tire shop. Would getting the problem 2 rebalanced potentially help these vibrations or being over 60 would a rebalance not help? Anyone have experience dealing with vibration over 60 and suggestions on what to do?

I would get a road force balance and go from there

I haven't done a cmc. I haven't noticed any rubbing other then on the front plastic fender. I haven't aired down yet so I'm not sure the rubbing I'll find at the point.

I really have noticed the different with weight the truck needs more balls getting up hills now. Which I figured would happen. I need to find someone for a tune down the line. Eventually I'll end up regearing but that's no rush I. My book I'm enjoying the new wheels either way, can't wait for another off-road trip.

Hopefully someone chimes in that has them, they sound like a good deal! I was seriously considering the Toyo RT but want the snow rating, which these have. Also a 60k mile warranty.
