    Posted this in the other thread for 255/80/17s but hoping this gets extra visibility

    Anybody running 8.5" wide wheels on a 255/80/17? Wondering if there's any issues airing down to 15~PSI or not

    I am, I’ve been down to the teens but not quite that low. Once it’s wheelin season up here I’ll give it a try. Not sure when your planning on making your decision

    How low do you air down to? I always go below 18 PSI, sometimes 14 for the stuff we run

    I have KMC 718 rims in 17x8.5 inch. Lowest I’ve gone to is 10 psi in snow and 14 psi on dirt/rocks. No issues unseating a bead or burping any air.

    I SPOKE WITH this guy and his girl when my fiance and i saw them in our campground in NH
    real cool people, they were able to travel the world in this thing, taking odd jobs along the way they said.

    american racing outlaw ii, mastercraft courser AT

    full OME kit, heavy fronts, medium rears, stock UCA :)
    runs great, wheeled with the new setup twice already

    for sure. esp since in person he seemed like a potential walking trust fund (picking up odd jobs) but i might have misinterpreted all that
    ...turns out he has like 3 doctorate degrees in finance/economics/lawyer and just took a less obvious path with that lol
    cant judge a book by the cover, they were cool though!
