Well... I decided to dechrome my truck. Have an addicted off-road tube bumper on order and being built.

I decided to start with changing the grill. All I have to do to finish this little project is hit the side markers with some flat black.

Oh boy..... I payed for and ordered a front tube bumper from addicted off-road back on October 16th. I'm starting to wish that I would've done some research on that company before giving them money.

I've sent two emails just asking for a status on my order. No big deal, just curious to know. Haven't had any response yet and it's been three weeks and one week respectively to each email I have sent.

I'm a bit nervous now that I'm going to experience what many it seems like have with this outfit.

How did you pay? If through PayPal or Credit Card, you can file a claim if they're trying to stiff you

    It's a satoshi grill.

Yeah I know... I don't think they are trying to stiff me. I just think they are barely keeping the head above water with all their orders, it's been during the holiday season, and from what I gather looking at their FB page and such they are pretty rough around the edges when it comes to customer service. I'm sure it will all work out eventually. If it doesn't I will go to relentless and work with them. I already plan on using them for a rear bumper.

This is definitely one of my FAV first gens I have ever seen...

Custom paint scheme (accidental nod to the A-Team) = AWESOME
Step side bed (something different than all the rest) = AWESOME
Great wheels and tires = AWESOME (Only critique... Should have gone with BLACK RAY 10s on the back and GUN METAL up front :D just to keep with the theme...)

Overall just nicely put together and unique, should call it the "something a little different build"!

Hahaha! I like that! Maybe I should change the title to that! It is a bit different thats for sure! Thanks man I appreciate the compliments.

I may take you up on that. I know there is going to be some welding involved but I'm gonna take it to a guy for that part. I'm also gonna have to figure out what to do with the windshield wipper fluid container. I don't know if I want to paint it black or maybe move it or perhaps shorten somehow. I don't know yet.

Awesome! Can’t wait to see it mounted up. A lot of guys relocate the washer fluid inside the engine with one of those eBay ones. They’re like $20 on there

Just adding some pics to the thread. Bumper is at the shop being powder coated. Meeting with the Fab/welder guy on Monday next week. I'm going to have to have 2" frame extensions welded on the front of the frame in order to install and weld the cross member on. So...today since I was off and because we finally had a nice weather day, I decided to prep some for all of that.

    IMG_20190108_111116712.jpg
Bumper off. Those cans will have to come off.

    IMG_20190108_154223122_HDR.jpg
Cleaned up. Now I need to prime and paint it all. Going to wait and see what the bumper looks like on there before I do any trimming.

    IMG_20190108_154232877.jpg
Cleaned the daylights out of the engine bay since I was at it.

Well I met with and talked to my welder guy today. Bumper will be installed in two weeks. I pick it up from powder coating in the morning. Sucks I have to wait two weeks for the cross member to be installed. :annoyed:

Got my ditch light brackets and wiring harness in so I went ahead and installed my TWSS gift! They so awesome!

    Bumper finally getting mounted tomorrow!!!!!!!

Changed out all the valve cover gaskets and all yesterday and today. That was nerve racking. Decided to add some color under the hood. IMG_20190203_171520300.jpg
