    I've been on a backpacking trip to the same area.. Mallard Larkin right? Just back in the hills from Orfino...How did you get to the area where you took the picture next to Larkin lake in a tacoma? I had to hike to get their. I also have had my lower ball joints fail on the passenger side of my old 98 tacoma. Never that bad though. All I had to replace was the ball joint and the second time the cv also. It happened on the road once near my house at about 10mph and another on a major road at about 40mph. Both at night. Luckily no traffic... I had no clue that it was a recall. Ps your dad sounds like a good dude.

    So, what is the reason for blowing up your LBJ's? Is it the weight, wheeling or lift angle?

    combination of all that. Mostly that all the grease in them came out from bad boots. They dried up and just ate themselves away.

    I think they where original..not 100% on that TBH. But id assume so and yes, like almost 120k. And 30k of me driving it..
