I’m pretty sure those mirror lights on back of the sun visor are battery powered.I just put a mirror on mine from an auto parts store,no light just something on the passenger side for my wife to use.

I recently purchased a 2018 silver SR and today put the black nerf bars on her.

I would like to eventually change the rims from the basic stock that it comes with. I don't want to lift, but would like to get 17" rims. I have seen the TRD rims / wheels sold on the marketplace. What is the size of tires that would be a direct changeout with 17s?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I have never changed rims on any of my previous cars.

Find yourself a set of TRD Pro wheels off a 4runner or Tacoma with the Nitto tires on them. You can get them pretty cheap and they're a direct swap, no lift needed. I believe they're a 265/70/17 You could always order a set of TRD Pro wheels online also for about $600 or so and then put whatever tire on those wheels that you want. If you have stock steel wheels, you will also need new lug nuts. The steel wheels don't use the same lug nuts as the aluminum wheels. I don't believe the TPMS sensors from your steel wheels will work with the aluminum wheels either but I may be wrong. EBAY has OEM style black lug nuts made to work with stock aluminum wheels for about 25 bucks

suspension is all stock, only rub was mudflaps, heated them up and reshaped them to fix that.

I have a magnetic gray 2017 RS M/T access Cab with convenience package. And some "port accessories" 5 in oval tube steps, wether mats and door jam package. Not a bad little truck. I had some Tyger fog light and Amber LED just taking up space in the shed so I installed them last week. I will probably reconfigure the light layout not to sure if really like the way it looks 2018-01-31_19.50.31.jpg

I have the Amber LED wired in with the outer corner lights and they turn on with only the parking and running light, the larger fog/ Driving light are switched and can be turned on whenever. I have covers for them just no pictures. Im looking to do the RS trd pro fog lights up grade I saw in the sticky forum.

Thanks. Very happy with how it looks. I had my mechanic do it. He said it was pretty straightforward cause of the instructions. The bumper needs to be raised 1" to be flush with the tailgate so ill be looking into that and make that a weekend project.

2018 Tacoma Double Cab SR, V6, Auto, 4x4
Hello folks! Joining the SR party here. Just picked mine up on Monday. It was the only SR, Double Cab, 4x4, 6cyl, Auto withing 300 miles of me. Several mods coming in the next 2 weeks. Tint was first..got my RRW RRV-2 wheels and OR black flares today.

Ordered and to be delivered next week...

    - King 2.5 RR/Adjustable CO's
    - 1" block for rear (not lifting much at all and really on the fence with what I'm going to end up doing here.) The SR is a tab bit lower than some of the other models (leaf spring part #'s are different so just assumption really?!? May go with TRD PRO leaf pack since it is 1" higher that the OR. Expensive...but factory!
    - ECGS Clamshell Bushing (Figured I would just do it now)
    - 265-70-17 Nitto Ridge Grappler, C Rated (Had Duratrac's on my ZR2...good but kind of mushy and got loud pretty quick and I'm just not a fan of BFG tires)

Always wanted to trick out a SR...fun, fun, fun!!!!!
