I just converted to all LED's. I added an OPT7 H11 kit for the high beams and a Hikari H11 kit for the low beams.

Also picked up two fog lights and bezels from ebay. Used these from Amazon for fog lights

I wired the fogs by tapping in the low beams for power. I did NOT want to remove the steering wheel for the fog switch.

Can’t remember if I posted my SR here. Pretty stick however I added Toyota Dark alloys, Toyota bed liner, and tint. (25% on the doors, and 5% on the back window)

Once the tires wear out I’ll go with something a touch more aggressive. Still trying to decide if I want any bed side graphics.

Got a few things in the mail today. Installed a faux TRD Pro grill today. Since I don’t have the sensor like the 18’s do I wanted to get the grill while I could still get one without the sensor part. Picked one up off eBay for a great price $108 with free shipping. It came super fast and was packaged well with no broken tabs.

Install was easy and the diy letters are pretty simple too. While I was at it and had the grill off I installed a 20 inch led light bar behind the grill. It’s a nice subtle touch and really helps to light up the ground directly in front of the truck so it will be nice in adverse weather.

Installing it behind the grill wasn’t too bad once I figured out how I wanted to do it. Here’s what it looks like from the front.



I used a wiring harness and the mictuning switch off Amazon for a mostly painless install. Overall I’m really happy with how it turned out. The light bar was cheap but I took it apart and sealed it with rtv so hopefully it holds up. I’ve got some other lighting projects I would like to tackle but this and the grill were happy additions today!

 

Thanks! My truck didn’t come with the B pillar decal...however I thought of adding it!. I like how it blacks out the whole area. I’m done for a while, want to keep the truck “clean looking.”

 

X2 on liking the black B pillar vinyl. It’s a matter of personal tastes, I guess.

 

Anyone install diffeent color fog light bulbs? Was curious is they change the tint color of the stock housing?

Just picked up my 2017 DCSB SR 4x4 today, loving this truck already. I’m glad Toyota still offers a truck like this, it’s just about everything I want as it sits.

I wasn’t sure how I would like it so I didn’t want to drop big money on a rigid. Since this one was going behind the grill I covered all the seams and anywhere I thought water could come in with RTV sealant. I wouldn’t do this to a bar that’s going to be on the exterior but it fit my purposes perfectly. So far it’s been great. And if something goes wrong I’m only out $30, not $300.

Got the new grill installed a couple weeks ago and did the window tint yesterday (5% on everything other than the front 2 windows, they’re 18%). It’s amazing what window tint can do for looks and functionality. Now i don’t feel like I’m driving a fish bowl

Unfortunately now the wheels look even worse to me so I’m waiting for the next discount tire eBay $100 off sale
