Sorry for the late post. Do you have a side shot of your truck with these tires on? I'm thinking of upgrading my tires also.

Correct. You can only have utility package OR convenience package. I have the convenience package, the rear seats have come through in a pinch a few times.

Quick question -- do you literally just snap these on over the existing wheels (hub cap included) or do you need to lift the truck, take off the lug nuts, etc?

Yes. The set I threw away clipped on the cut-outs or spokes. The clips are part of the plastic Wheel Skin, 2 per cut-out. They fit tight. There is a strip of foam tape around the outside diameter of the Wheel Skin so no way for it to rattle on the wheel.

Thanks ChaseFan, that's awesome to hear. BTW, for the amount of times you have linked to that ebay listing in this thread, they should be paying you out a commission!

Well they did, sort of. I emailed them and told them about how I was having an issue getting the air chuck to seat on the valve stem. She said to take them off and send them back and I would get a refund. Well it was cold here that day and when I was taking them off I snapped a couple of the clips off. I emailed them and told them what I had done and that I had thrown them in the dumpster and thanked them for the offer. They credited my PayPal the full amount anyways. Real nice folks to deal with.

I bought the same set. Just an FYI- the instructions that come with the set says to remove the plastic center hub from the wheel before you install these skins. But according to ChaseFan you do not have to do that. I wish I knew that before I installed mine. It wasn't an easy thing to pry those plastic hubs off without cosmetically damaging them slightly, even if you're careful.

Good heads up ClassicVW -- 'u wish u could ride' posted some pics in this thread a while back with the hub caps sitting on the ground (along with a hammer -- yikes) from his install, so assume he followed the same directions. Hopeful that these things are as easy to slap on as ChaseFan says when they get here next week.

Did you do anything to the back lift wise? AAL or block? I see you have the Stage 1 up front. Installed how it came right out of the box or are you able to adjust them upwards a little?

The rear is still stock height wise, just the icon shocks. I’ve raised the front to match the stock rear height, maybe 2” ? Looking at the CV’s now, really can’t go much more without the inner fins rubbing. Might be able to get another 1/2” max, most likely will get a 1” rear block next week.

Have a 1” Toytec body lift, might put it on tomorrow, or next week.

That really is an awesome photo. It should be in the Tacoma brochure!
