The SR thread, let's see them!

I can relate to that. I had to lemon a 2014 Tacoma and a 2018 Tundra, which are the reason I’m not driving a Toyota right now, although I love my father’s SR and may return in the future with another Tundra or a 4Runner.

 

Recently purchased a 2019 SR5! Sold the old 2000 SR5

 

that's not rite mine is silent , is the dipstick have metal shavings on it ?

is there really a ton of difference between the two? they're the only two non-TRD trim levels so i don't see why SR5 trucks can't be posted here

 

good looking truck...can you tell me what kind of set up is that wheel and tire size and offset and backspacing...did you lift it?

I have been wondering why so many SR5's and even gen 1 gen 2's are posted here. This thread is a real resource for SR owners or at least it is for me.

A friend's dad was a crew chief on the 71, really an unbelievable aircraft! But i tend to think it's stone age tech compared to what the military has now (that we dont know about)

Took a little trip today. Drove the Tacoma in three States. Played CD’s, including some Rolling Stones. When “It’s Only Rock and Roll” was playing I thought “What do you mean it’s ONLY rock & roll ? Rock & roll is awesome. And, it's the friggen Stones !”. Then I thought it’s like saying “What do you mean it’s ONLY a SR? It’s a Tacoma !”.

And, I love driving my SR. The new mudflaps did a great job keeping the road salt off the truck body. Had a great day.

 

I wish Toyota would get smart and sell a V6 4x4 utility access cab with a 6ft bed .

 

Yes, they should do that. And, they should resume the availability of a manual shift in the 4 cylinder model.
