I tried to find these on Etsy and only found StiffyMounts. Not bad for $25. It holds rock solid and comes with 3 different metal plates that stick to my phone.

I eyeballed that mount really hard.. In the end I wasnt sure if it would hold my X with the battery case.. Didnt want to attach anything to my case either.. Ended up going the hondo mount route...

I know I'll take heat for saying this but.........

This is the best looking truck on TW. Damn thing gives me a chubby every time I see it. It embodies what Toyota was looking for in a small truck. Rugged 4 cylinder, 4 wheel drive, and a clean simple no nonsense look. Damn fine truck dude!

I only use mine for road trips. Last time I went to get it out of my console to use it, the glue failed and the magnet fell off of the clip. There was only a tiny pea size dab of glue. I roughed it up with some sandpaper and covered the whole face of the clip with epoxy to reattach the magnet. It’s good to go now. For the price, I’m not complaining.

Are those aftermarket fender flares or does the 4X4 come with them?

Thanks ! I promise...no more pics for a bit, lol.

That 200+lbs topper made a big drivability difference for me, made the truck feel squishy, I’ve adjusted the tire air pressure two times since installing it, now back up to 38 front & 36 rear, feels much better now.

Was going to do the CV boot slide mode and get another 1/2” of lift, but I’m about to go on 3K+ road trip (CO, UT) and don’t want any issues (caused by me) while on the road. Probably install the sound system next, have some Hertz & JL Audio stuff sitting in boxes waiting : )

No pics right now I have a white 2016 sr access cab with the convenience package. I have added tint, auto tailgate lock, locks on bed cubbies, led interior bulbs, evo one remote start, platidipped the chrome emblem on the steering wheel and grill and spray painted the chrome bezel around the cup holder.

It's just a designation Toyota has used for many years, to designate an upper trim level from base, and it usually is a "sport" designation. They used to use it on cars like the Corolla, but not any longer. No one knows exactly what it literally means, maybe "Sport Rendition"? or means something in Japanese translation? There never was a "SR 3" or any other number.

The SR 5 was also on vehicles that were auto and nowhere near 5 speed. Like older Corollas, etc.

As @Claudiomartinof said, it originally meant Sport Rally 5 Speed, but it eventually became a simple trim designation and was no longer linked to sportiness, rallyness, nor a 5 speed manual.

My Taco is a SR but on the paperwork it says it is an SR 5. My wife surprised me with the truck so I don't know what they told her it was vs what it really is. I'll find out when I take it in for it's first check up in a few weeks.
