Finally did the AC drain tube mod to prevent the drips hitting the frame. Used a 5/8 tube to slip over the AC drain tube.

Going through this thread and saw the carbon fiber look on the dash. I want to get rid of the silver/ chrome look there. How was this done?

In my case it was very easy. My truck came with no vent trim, chrome or otherwise. I think the Tuffskinz inserts would fit inside the chrome trim. Also, I do believe others have addressed blacking out or adding different trim to Tacomas with the chrome trim.

Although I haven't run the A/C much since purchasing my Tacoma, I may have to do this mod!

Are those OEM fog light housings or eBay or Amazon cheap aftermarket? I bought a like new set of oem fog lights here in the marketplace and plan to install when the rest of my parts come in. You can usually find OEM ones for $50 or so in the Marketplace forum here. Just make sure they’re the 55W ones and not the 16W ones which are on some models.

they are the 55W. I got them on Amazon and they are good so far, they are sending me a replacement for the broken one already. I pretty much Bought it because it came with the wiring kit, I’m gonna be switching to something better when I get back to work

Glad to hear they’re making good on it, maybe just a fluke and they’ll be just fine!

    None yet.
I'm sure you know that DM's, LI's, JO's and PH's all merged in MC (Mass Communications) back in 2006. I was already a Senior Chief (PHCS) by then but I felt bad for the LI?DM's on the advancement tests after that. Most of the questions had little to do with their old Rates.

I’m curious, how many here have done the Nitori’s SR OEM fog light mod? Or the intermittent wiper mod? I’m waiting on the last parts I need to do a modified version of Nitori’s fog light mod, already did the Intermittent wiper stalk mod.

Did intermittent wiper as soon as I got it, then fog lights (stalk swap method) about 2 years later. I’d recommend knocking both out at the same time.

Like you I did the Intermittent wiper stalk mod right after I got mine, now 9 months later I should have the fog lights done soon as the last parts arrive. It’s like my trucks blind without them lol

Did the wiper mod on my 2019 SR and did the push button on the lower left side of the dash for the fogs. On my 2020 the intermittent came with and I did the same foglight mod as before. Both times, the hardest part was getting the wire thru the firewall. Also did the kicker tweeters on the 2019, not going to bother on the 2020 unless I do all the speakers. Seems like the stock 2020 speakers are better than the ones that were in my 2019 but since I am sorta tone deaf and regular deaf (according to wife) they are probably the same.
