Yeah, actually kind of like look of the Tacoma without the fender flares. Looks more like the 4Runner Pro in white.

My cheapo LED fog light bulbs didn't make it 2 years (not surprised). After reading and understanding some lighting threads I came to realize that an LED bulb in a halogen projector = no bueno. I decided to use the stock H11 bulbs from my low beams and replace my low beams with Phillip's +60 H11 bulbs. Hopefully I get a little bit better light output from both. I probably should have just gotten the +130, but they burn out too quickly, so I opted for a bit better light output with descent longevity. I'll report back on wether or not it makes a difference.

Washed up. Dropping a pic here.20220425_193810.jpg

Still riding the stocked tires since I’m paying for them might as well use them. Roof rack might be the next mod.

I had a chance to drive around at night a bit with my Phillip's extreme vision +60 H11 Halogen bulbs. I will say that they do offer quite a bit more visibility vs the stock H11 bulbs.

I put my stock H11 bulbs in place of my yellow LED fog light bulbs that took a crap on me... I honestly cant say the H11 halogen bulb offers any better visibility than the Cheapo yellow LED. I think I'm going to grab a set of the Nokya yellow H11s for my fogs at some point in the future

Been riding on my stock tires since I bought the truck new in 2018. Why be wasteful?

Did you loose any mileage when you switch into a bigger tire size? Planning to do the same thing 265x75x16.

Yes. My average mileage pre tire and wheel swap and air dam removal was 24. Now my average mileage is about 21-22.

I took things like rotating weight into account, so I purchased a light weight set of wheels @17Lbs and a lightweight SL tire @ 44Lbs because I didnt really need E Load tires or the extra weight from the thicker sidewalls. I assume removing the fugly air dam didn't help mpg either. I CAN get 23-24 mpg, but I really have to try and drive a certain way. Kinda stinks the 4cyl and v6 actually get about the same mileage.

For the new SR peeps here, if you would like to add mirrored/illuminated sun visors from the SR5+ trim models I have a couple harnesses left. Check the link in my signature.

Oh wow somehow I totally missed this! Glad someone made a harness and honestly surprised there's not more of a market, but I venture that sourcing reasonably priced sun visors is the bigger hangup for people looking to do it.

Haha nice, guess I need to work on my marketing! But yeah I agree, it is a pretty niche market and the cost of the visors alone is enough to turn some people away from this mod.

Thanks! Yeah removing the air dam will kinda loose mpg as well if you're running above 50mph because of air drag. I've already removed mine but I put it back again since I'll be doing a long trip and a few extra mpg will be useful.

I’ve avoided that by adding 2.5” suspension lift, a 1” body lift and 34’s, there’s no kinda anymore, 14-16 mpg, air dam be damned !
