Here is my SR Access cab. I've made it my own with a few minor mods. There is one thing I just can't get used to and that is the red needles in the dash cluster. At times, I can't tell my speed, not that I'm speeding. I wish the needles were white like all the other 2016 Tacoma's. I've even gone to the point of going to my eye doctor. He recommended eye lid surgery which I did. One eye lid was even done twice. I still can't tell my speed with those red needles on black. Brightness is turned to the max with no help. If I could, I would like to paint even just the tip of each needle with a bright white paint. Anyone else have this problem?image.jpg

It is a four cylinder, it does not matter, you are not speeding. ;-)

Question for SR owners. Anyone have chrome exhaust tip from factory? Mine came with a stainless steel tip from a '15 Tundra and even looked used. Does not look like the "chrome stainless tip".

On occasion, in my neighborhood, we have a police cruiser sitting unmanned with a camera. Speed limit is 25mph. I can easily do 30-35 mph in that area even with my 4 cylinder. Tickets come in the mail.

I love the look of these TRD wheels but can't decide if it would be "douchey" to put them on my non TRD truck lol. Seeing yours sways me towards ordering a set though!

I wasn't completely sold on the looks of the stripped down SR with unpainted bumpers, but I think this truck has changed my mind. I'm really diggin it now.

I'm with you on this. I know most folks on this forum are seriously into how their truck looks and don't like the unpainted bumper but I have the same truck and think it looks fine. It's an awesome truck at a great price.

I think the black wheels make it look much better with the black bumpers. I saw one with the stock silver steelies in white and it was just too much going on so I went with black paint. No one notices the black bumpers/handles/mirrors with the black paint.

right on. I think the truck in photo would look great with 35% tint all around to finish off the storm trooper look.

    Moe,

What kind of MPG's are you seeing with the wider tires?

Around town I'm seeing 18-20 around town and anywhere from 22-25 on the highway. That picture was taken with spidertrax 1.25 spacers and I just put Trd wheels on the trunk with no spacers and LT 265 75 16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs.
