Yeah I was thinking about that. What if I got the suspension for under 50 bucks. Should I do it?

I would do install myself. alignment not too worried about. I kinda want to kill these tires so I can buy new rims and tires lol.

Was it worth it or should we save for 1500's?

For anyone wondering, I just installed the rear 5100's last night. I'm not sure if the rear raised it some or the front settled some but now there is about a 1/2" difference in rear (it's higher).

I am happy with it, but I do not plan on upgrading the suspension any further.
My off road ventures are mild, and I do not want my truck to be any taller.
It was worth it for me, but maybe not for you. If I planned on getting something better, I would have saved up for that.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I don't really want to lift the truck since I don't wheel much. If I'm off road it's because I'm working on a project on someone's farm or my folk's property. If I did lift it would be an inch or less. I don't want to deal with EGCS bearing issues.

I'd rather get better offset wheels and more aggressive tires and just keep the stock suspension. Just stuff whatever fits in there.

Also, I learned in my previous car modding life that you should just save for what you want the first go around. I put springs on the stock struts of my civic and later purchased coilovers. I should have skipped the labor involved with the springs and done coilovers the first time. I don't plan on making the same mistake twice.

Is that in a standard tablet case with the screen cover portion attached to the dash?

Did you add fog lights or did yours come with them?

Yes it's just Velcro on the top and a piece on the bottom so I can just flip it up for backup camera. And also easy to take off and take in at night. It has its own internet connection. So you can watch vids listen to talk radio.
