Thanks, but I don't really care. It works fine. If an LED goes out or something then I'll replace it.

It was weird to me that I would've had to step up to the TRD trim to get a manual trans. I originally wanted a manual but didn't want the TRD price tag.

The way they have trim and transmission linked is stupid. You should be able to order any trim with any engine and any transmission, within the capabilities of the engineering, obviously.

Yeah it's pretty silly. Doesn't make sense that I can't get the base model with the standard trans and V6. I didn't want all the "amenities" of the TRD sport or off road. Only thing my SR has are the convenience and tow package.

I just don't want that dumb ass hood or rims on the sport. It also makes zero sense how you can't get a trd offroad ACLB in manual

The hardest decision for me when picking my truck was manual or long bed.
My boys are grown, but I still have a young daughter, so I was about 90% sure I wanted a double cab since it would be a little more convenient (probably could've gone with access cab though). Anyway, this meant I had a choice to make between MT or LB. In the end I decided to go with the MT, since I have trailers. Still, going from a full size truck to a Tacoma, I would've liked the longer bed. I really with they would've offered that combination.
In about 6-7 years, when my daughter starts driving, I should be able to get a bare bones SR.
But who knows, I might just end up keeping the Off-Road until it's dead.

Does the sr come with int. wipers? I hate not having them on my current Taco.

It does not, but I purchased the int. wiper stalk and swapped them out in about 10 minutes. Very simple to do!

Fog lights too? Basically I want to know if the upgrades from SR to SR5 are worth the $.

I still can't get over how quickly and accurately questions are answered here! Thanks

Fog lights are easy enough to add later.

Added fogs to mine as well, cost about 50 bucks for a kit on Amazon and the trim rings from Toyota.

@moe2o4 Did a great write up on the fogs, followed his instructions and it was easy!

I didn't see the upgrade to SR5 as worth it, plus I absolutely hate the chrome bumper things on these trucks...

It's 78645-fuggly! Jk jk.. you sure you want predators? I think they're ugly. I'd just purchase some legit sliders.
