    Dude sweet SR, congrats.

That's the exact truck I hope to be in soon. But in the lighter silver. I've already got my SR5 stereo with XM and GPS antennas ready to go, hahaha

I for sure will be tinting my windows ASAP after getting mine, probably 20% for the rear and 35 or so on the front to stay legal here in NC.

Hmm, rims are a make it/break it item. The right wheels really make a vehicle "pop." Also don't rule out the factory OffRoad wheels, the look terrific with a white letter tire in them and honestly cane usually be had for a good price on Craigslist.

Even a good 17" 4Runner wheel would look great too, and the nice thing there is you can get certain 265/70/R17s in a 6-ply instead of 10. Or the SL if that's all you need. My truck is a daily driver so I don't need the 10-ply.

I've always liked the 2016 OEM SR wheels, PN PT946-35160 and the TRD Pro rims,
    PN PT758-35170-02

But honestly I'm really thinking about sourcing the first Gen Tacoma spare steelies as they have a greater offset and gettting some BF Goodrich KO2 with white letters out. Mostly because the TPMS stems are different between aluminum and steel wheels.

Let's see some more pics man! Or a build/mod thread too!

When you added your fogs, were you pre-wired at the front and inside the steering column?

@upperlefter Can I get the details on the type of beam pattern you went with and why?

    Your truck looks great man!

I'm on the fence between adding fogs the OEM way or putting them on a dedicated switch. My truck is pre wired for OEM fogs. 2017 SR with convenience package

You sure they are prewired? I have a 2016 SR Convenience package and don't think mine was, unless I just wasn't paying attention... I ran everything to a dedicated switch. I prefer this method anyway because I can turn them on whenever, not dependent on headlights and there is already a spot to fit the switch.

Thanks for the referral! I'm glad those fog lights are working out for you  Rigid makes amazing lights.

Having them wired up with an OEM harness is definitely very clean. My truck came with factory fog lights but I did the Fog Light Anytime mod because it's nice to be able to turn them on and use the during the day like running lights. Works great for parking lots, and dawn and dusk as well. If you do go with the factory wiring also look into the any time mod. You can still do a clean install with a new harness just for the fog lights, and add in a factory like switch so it looks like factory but on it's own set of wiring.

We've proven the prewiring at least three times on other convenience package SR's (mine included). Just have to pull off the steering wheel and change out the dimmer stalk, and everything works like it would on stock SR5/TRD.

I would install the stalk with the switch integrated in a heartbeat. Only b/c your pre-wired for it.

I had no clue it was tied to them being opted with the Conv package, makes sense though.

Now if only we could confirm if a DC SR has any wiring from the shark fin forward???
