Thanks fellas! I figured the narrow wheel goes well with a 255 tire. I don't see any trucks running around with the gunmetal wheels, everyone has black in my neck of the woods. Hopefully tomorrow I can get them done before I have to go out of town.

My SR has the utility package, but not the convenience package. It has heated mirrors.

Those T4R rims look great! Sorry they won't balance though.

Those rims are pretty cheap all over Craigslist also.

Don't think the rims are the issue. Maybe the tires. Lot's of post about vibration issues in the third gens. Hopefully replacing the tires will solve it. We shall see.

Sorry, I should have clarified that and said sorry the tires wont balance.

Some just take a bit to get right that's for sure.

Hopefully the shop your using is understanding and wants to get it right for ya.

Alrighty, here's my updated basic b!|©π. Excuse the filth, I just got back from a 1k mile road trip last night.

I added window tint, 18% fronts, 5% rear and 70% on the windshield.

This morning I got my wheels and tires slapped on. 255/75/17 BFG KM Rubicon takeoffs wrapping around oem pro's. 17x7 +4. Stock Sr suspension. No rubbing anywhere.

The 5 in SR5 stood for 5 speed manual. I think it's kinda funny that now on SR5 trims you can't even get a manual.

I was wondering if anyone has figured out the rgb color for the SR dash color so I can match the ScanGauge 2? Thanks

Can I open a can of worms here in the SR thread?

So the 18s are supposed to have TSS which would include adaptive cruise control right? All of the other Toyota vehicles with TSS have the MID in them.

Makes me wonder if the SRs will now come with the MID in the gauges. There is a pic in the 2018s thread that shows Cruise Control is a discontinued option for SR trucks and I'm trying to figure out why?

    Guess we will see.

That's a good observation. I'm thinking that maybe they discontinued cruise control as an option because now it's standard with this new safety stuff. But like you said I guess we'll see

So I've been lurking here lately as I am in the market for a new truck. I found a black sr dcsb v6 4x4. I wanted to get an sr5 with the dark alloy wheels in black with long bed but I can't find one on local lots and I am a Toyota employee(powertrain plant) and to buy at our price I have to take what's on the lot. But I think I will just plastidip the wheels until it needs tires. My only planned mods are fogs and led bulbs, tint, and I would like a tonneau cover but I don't like tri folds so I need to research those some more. I do plan on putting Sony android auto head unit in once I find all the adapters to make everything(backup cam, usb, etc.) work. Hope to take possession and get pics by this coming weekend.
