    Wish this build was available in TX! I went with a 4x2 because to get a 4x4 down here you have to jump up to a SR5, then a V6 to get the 4x4 which is about 6k hike in price!

    thanks greenbean. there is just something about those wheels that I thought too would be just right at home on a taco. and yes I do need the tpms sensors. it drives me crazy seeing that light on the dash.

    Here's my SR! Had her about two weeks. So far I've removed the air dam, painted the front emblem, got WeatherTechs, 265/75/16 Falken WildPeak, Bestop tonneau (not on in pic), and windows get tinted tomorrow.

    Yeah mine did. Ugly thing, so I took it off. Pretty sure I lost 1mpg but I'm still averaging 23 mpg per tank with the lift. I drive all highway.

    Def curious what yours drives like once you add tires and wheels. I seen a few others add larger tires and wheels to the 2.7 SR and didnt have too much issues. I also drove an SR 4x4 with TRD Off-road OEM's on it and it and it seemed ok overall, not super different on power

    It will need lower gears. 255/85r16 are lighter than 285s but heavier than 265s. I really want height over width. My 4 banger isn't too impressive on steep hills. It down shifts to 4th a lot. ECT helps, but to really get the job done, I'll need 4.88. Stock these 4 bangers come with 4.30 with the auto trans.

    The only major steep hill I take it up is the 5 South by Gorman but it kicks in the overdrive and I can get it 70-75 the whole way. If someone cuts in front of me and I have to slow down its shitty recovering but that is about the only time its been issue. I could see it being lacking in an area with lots of steep hills

    I got some steep hills here in eastern Kansas. Usually it only downshifts to 5th, but if I'm hauling up one, it will go into 4th.

    Save save save lol. Little by little and you'll get there. So with 4.88 these trucks shift well in combo with the 6speed trans? Good to hear.

    Anyone see this cool kit from Rigid Industries? Seems like a great deal, because the OEM SR5 and above kit from Toyota is almost $400 dollars (I priced it at $379 here at Olathe Toyota, KS). You're getting nice D series super bright led fogs for less and cool mounting brackets. http://offroad.rigidindustries.com/mounting-options/46567

    @0uTkAsT whatchu think for us SR'ers ?
