Those are quite possibly the ugliest wheels ever on a Taco, was so happy to see them discontinued..They remind me of knock-off Oreos from the dollar store :notsure:

Your generalization speaks volumes about your mindset just the same..Don't think you don't have a history of negative posts in various threads.
Sorry, I was blowing off some steam after a very long study night among other things. Yes I dislike them, but everyone's tastes are different and that is A-Ok

Those alloys are still probably lighter than the stock steelies so there's still some benefit. The less rotating mass the better!

Couldn't agree more! these steelies are like round boat anchors.

Yup. I'm looking to get some alloys and AT's before winter. Gotta save my pennies.

Very nice, looks good. How is the light output, and are they plug and play?

I only tested them for a 10 minute drive but they are noticeably brighter than OEM. With the SR, your DRL setting will keep the tube light off, but have the parking lights on. The parking light setting will turn the tube light on with the parking lights. It's not really a big issue for me but I am just putting it out there for anyone thinking about these headlights. Other than that I'm completely satisfied with the output of the lighting. I might end up switching the bulbs out due to preference, but they are great nonetheless.

Wonder why is it so hard to get a SR 4 door, 4cyl base truck on the west coast?

I am looking for another new truck for our farm and all my loser local dealers have are sr5 and above

I already paid $40k for my PRO and I don’t need a 40k truck for my farm

I need the advertised 25k 4 door base model

I go on autotrader and dealers all over the Midwest and southeast have these trucks

Do no one in west coast coast want base 4 door SR?!

Just wanted to add this little nugget.

I probably lost maybe 1.5-2mpg with all of these mods. So, don't be afraid to put a little armor on a 4banger ... it'll still be fine.

From this morning. AVG = MPG over 67mi, TNK = MPG over 267mi(since previous fill), MPG = instant read MPG. My best on this route is 28.5ish, and I probably could have done a little better this morning if I tried more.

I feel your pain! I had to leave the Mid-west to find mine, regions are funny like that and they have very few to begin with.
You might as well get an order in for a 2018 and let them find one out there.

For those of you who have shells would you mind posting a few pictures and which model you have. Im going to pull the trigger soon but I can't decide which one to get. Leaning towards either the A.R.E. V series or the SnugTop hi-liner. I saw some of the photos on this thread of guys with those two shells but would love to see some more.

Does anyone know if the SR5/SR springs are the same as the off-road springs? Just different shocks right?

As far as I know the springs are the same across all trims. The shocks are the difference. I forget what the SR has. I looked at one point. The TRD sport has Hitachi and the TRD off road has Bilstein.
