Awesome! I don't see too many galaxies in middle TN. First year of that generation with the stacked headlights if i am not mistaken?

My truck is MGM and I am for sure going with black wheels, I was torn between level 8 MK6's and SCS Stealth 6's but you have added the F5's to the mix! Looks great. I think I will go 17" whatever wheel I decide to get with 255/75R17's

Edit: Had to update to the correct tire size for the 17" wheels

    Too few to list.
I'm pretty sure 255/75R16's will not go with 17" wheels.

Your right 1965 was the first year with stacked headlights. Also known as square Galaxie because 66 model was more rounded but looked the same. Alot of people think its a Fairlane. This one came out of North Carolina.

Lol, I noticed this as well. My front Hankooks squeal when barely moving turning to exit my work parking lot. I've slid them in the rain as well and they hydroplane.

Based on the wear I have on them to mileage, they should wear out ~ 24,000 miles if I don't cut them up on my flint rock road. I bought a set of SR5 take off wheels with new Toyos on them for $400. Hope they are better than the HKs.

I've been looking at some Falken wild peak a/tw3. Maybe some cooper discoverers. I love the general grabbers I had on my ranger but they were a little squishy and hard to balance.

So typical for OEM tires, especially base models. I just hope they can handle a winter and not slip n slide all over. They gave me a serious scare when they just hydroplaned in light rain. Interested in what you guys are thinking for replacements, I'll likely go up to 17s when I do.

I'll probably stick with 16's and the stock wheels for a bit. Just want AT's badly. Probably go up from a SL as well. I do my fair share of towing and hauling (part of the reason I got a V6 too)

Loving my new sr but have a few questions

-Do any SRs have TPMS? Im looking to get of OR wheels and need to know which ones to buy
-I feel a very slight bump occasionally when accelerating from a stop in 1st. I saw someone had the same issue, was there a thread on this or is it buried in here?

All cars sold since 2008 or something have it. The SR just has a warning light come on when a tire is low, other models can display the tire pressure for each wheel.

    This.

You have two options when swapping wheels. Deal with the light or get new tpms. The steel wheels tpms won't fit alloy wheels.
