the start of the satoshi

well i ordered my mesh last night from customcargrills.com . should be here in the next day or so. gona be a fun project im pretty stoked about it :] ill keep an update with pics as it goes

 

Hope you are ready for some serious work.
And be sure to check out the package well. Mine came in just trashed. Holes punched through it, and it was bent in half. But they took care of it and sent me another.

Looking good so far. Damn I want to do this... just don't have the two days that everyone says it takes (at minimum) to spare. And I sure don't want to drive around without a grill in the meantime.

lol ya i started at about 2:00 this afternoon and worked till about 9 on it. i got the bondo going... that shit sucks!!!! lol deff takes time. but im prob not going to get it done till the weekend due to work and school : / ill take some more pics tomorrow if u get a chance. luckly my parents have a 4runner that is a spare vehicle so im using that in the meantime

 

I may have to wimp out and just get a Grillcraft and flush mount it. They don't look quite as good as a true Satoshi but it only takes a day or less.

dude if u can order it from customcargrills.com its like 40 bucks for the sheet of black mesh compared to like 140 or w/e it is

 

Which mesh did you order? I looked but I don't wanna order a mesh that's not gonna cover much.. as I want to put lights behind the grill

 

i got the small diamond. u can order the sample pack for like 5 dollars... its kinda nice for giving an idea of all the different styles and they are very good with customer service there.
