I took a multi month sabbatical because every time I logged in I wanted to eat a bullet.

Been back for 3 days and it's still been fun, so I'll be around until it sucks again. Last time I deleted all of my shit, just in case.. :anonymous:

Lmao I think I've been treading water, I really need to step away from the 3rd gen section. I take it them tards are getting to you too?

Things have been great for me, I just about cleared up my pile of mods that were in boxes, met a new chick, and the 2 week rain onslaught has finally cleared so I think I'm gonna go yaking this weekend on the river.

Just now at 503,325 miles, had the charger rebuilt again at 480,000, I have a complete rebuild done every 150,000 miles or so give or take including the thermal coating of the rotors
and just passed emissions with flying colors, look at those numbers

Gotcha. Different than the original Teflon coating? Have you ever put in ceramic bearings?

Nope, I've heard of them but not had them installed, to be honest I would prefer to do a full rebuild every 150,000 miles.
That way I know I have a like new charger again after the rebuild with full boost being put out again. The snout oil needs to be replaced,
the charger will probably be full of carbon and will need to be cleaned and pressure checked and vacuum leaks sealed and the rubber seals by the bypass and blow off valve seals and will need to be replaced too along with the bypass linkage bearings and neddile bearings, rotor clearance reset along with rotors getting recoated as the coating does wear off. Then a fresh coat of paint.
The last thing I need is a part breaking in the supercharger, damaging the rotors or houseing or worse a part going into the engine and blowing up the engine because a bearing or something fell apart. I like being safe not sorry.
FYI,,, Subaru turbos do that all the time, the turbo blows up or comes apart and the broken parts, bearings or what ever get sucked into the engine destroying the engine. This is a common problem with Subaru turbos after 100,000 miles.
Photo of it Rebuilt with 480,000 miles looking like new, gets rebuild every 150,000 miles or so

Thanks. I've always ran with the 4x4s. One of the few times I've been stuck is boggy places like this

Are you using any kind of upgraded tstat?

I just recently figured out how to work my ultragauge plus and it was reading around 200-210 which I read isn't relatively bad for 90+ weather s/c'd. However I see that the tstats that urd sells are like $35 for the 3.4 and are rated at 170. While TRD PTR04-35050 is rated for 160 and my boys at Toyota Boch have them for $63.

Ah ok but you haven't upgraded your stock thermostat? They help cool the engine for better performance.
